PCLokR Pro Swipe Fingerprint Sensor (Authentec 1610 Swipe Sensor)
The BioCert PCLokR Pro is a compact and efficient fingerprint
reader powered by TruePrint technology for computer and network
access control incorporating the best of breed fingerprint
authentication from the biometric sensor industry leader and
iQBio premiere partner AuthenTec.
Utilizing the AuthenTec 1610 Compact Swipe Sensor (PCLokR
1610) or the Enterprise Class AuthenTec 2501 Fingerprint Swipe
Sensor (PCLokR 2501), the BioCert PCLokR Pro allows users to
replace passwords in a friendly environment for quick and easy
logon to Windows XP or Windows VISTA with the optional BioCert
Intelligent Identity Manager (BioCert IDentity). NOTE -
The BioCert IDentity software and the PCLokR 1610 are both
included in the bundle listed on this page. The PCLokR
2501 may also be used with the VeriSoft Access Manager with
Active Directory Integration for Microsoft Network
Authentication.
With the BioCert PCLokR Pro 1610 Bundle, increased security
is accompanied by time-savings and simplified logon to Microsoft
Windows (2000 SP4, XP, Vista), Single-Sign-On to websites and
applications and secure on-the-fly encrypted files, folders and
disks.
Designed to meet the most rigorous networks and even the
harshest mobile requirements, the BioCert PCLokR Pro 2501 is
designed for integration with Active Directory or remote website
verification of identity using advanced server-side
authentication techniques. The only differences between
the 1610 and the 2501 is the size of the fingerprint image that
is presented for authentication. The 2501 uses a wider
swipe reader to capture and authenticate tough to read
fingerprints and is compatible with multiple fingerprint
matching algorithms for Enterprise use.

The BioCert®
Intelligent Identity Manager™ is a complete
solution for local or network end user authentication using any
combination of Fingerprint Biometric, Smart Card, Passwords, USB
Tokens, Virtual Tokens, PKI, TPM Authentication (Infineon TPM
SLD 9630 TT 1.1b), PIN or Windows Authentication.
The BioCert® Intelligent Identity
Manager™ integrates seamlessly with the
VeriSoft Access Manager Enterprise Edition Server software.
The Desktop Version of the
BioCert® Intelligent Identity
Manager™ is sold bundled with select
BioCert® and Precise Biometrics PC Peripherals and is an add-on
to other peripheral devices sold by Biometrics Direct or Smart
Card Supply (where compatible).
The
VeriSoft Access Manager Enterprise Edition
is sold and licensed by the number of authorized users through
the server management console integrated with Microsoft Server
Active Directory and the BIIM desktop client. Cost per users
vary with volume starting at $69.95 per user.
The PCLokR 1610 and PCLokR 2501 security
bundles come with a full PC security suite from ASG partner
Comodo including Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam and a Personal Firewall
FREE for life. The PCLokR also is available in a
robust BioCert PCLokR Pro 2501 version with a
wider AuthenTec AES2501 swipe fingerprint sensor and the ability
to use it on a Corporate Network with the VeriSoft Access
